Rooted in a passion for fair-trade partnerships and community empowerment, our journey is guided by the principle of karma, weaving together the threads of tradition and innovation.
At Black Diamond Gallery in Black Diamond Alberta, we are more than just a studio and gallery; we are a sanctuary of creativity nestled amidst the serene landscapes of Indonesia. Founded by the visionary Rusty Davidson, our studio serves as a haven for master craftsmen and emerging artists alike, where dreams take shape and imagination knows no bounds.

Our ethos is reflected in every meticulously crafted piece, from hand-carved furniture to sculpted stone fixtures, all fashioned from reclaimed, untreated, and sustainably sourced wood and stone. Guided by time-honored techniques and a reverence for nature, our artisans breathe life into each creation, allowing the inherent beauty of our materials to shine through.

What is Teak?
Teak wood is a dense, close-grained type of hardwood that is sourced from the Tectona grandis tree, native to south and southeast Asia.
Petrified Wood
Petrified wood is fossilized wood where organic material has been replaced by minerals, resulting in a rock-like appearance while retaining the original structure of the wood.
